Welcome to the spring edition of the Mobile Jazz bulletin! There’s still a lot of uncertainty regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and we had to pause all our team events in 2020 and, for now, at least, it doesn’t look like 2021 is any different. This quarter updates focus a bit more on the business and technology side of things, where a lot of exciting stuff is happening.
In May we are going to share some of our insights on how we have managed to become a very successful lifestyle business. We’ll be speaking at the Automotive Software Strategies Conference, a conference about the future of software technology applied to the next generation of cars. If you can’t wait for the slides, you can get many of those insights already by downloading our Company Handbook 😉
Without any more introductions, let’s dive into this quarter’s updates!
We Are Launching Zemantics Ventures

It was 2011 when Jordi and Stefan – co-founders of Mobile Jazz – had the idea to create a different kind of company. One where people could enjoy innovating and enjoying a balanced working environment. Today, we’re a growing team of 20 people with different backgrounds and skills, helping our clients bring their ideas to life.

Besides being a digital company ourselves, we always had this strong belief that software is going to fuel many of the next big technology revolutions.
Today, as a consequence of our vision, we’re launching Zemantics Ventures. Aiming to invest in promising digital products and companies that are capable of disrupting all industries through advancements in software technology.

The Inside Scoop

COVID-19 – An Unexpected Email From California
It was June 2020 when we were skimming through many spam emails that we receive often in our inbox. All of a sudden we realized that there was one that was actually legit but also sounded extremely exciting.
We thought it would be just another request for a new project. But this one was special and caught our attention to the point that we immediately replied. Intrigued? We also were and decided to share the background story about it with our readers.

Our Team’s Goals and Vision for 2021
This year we started our first weekly meeting with something entirely different. We asked everyone in our team to share their personal and professional goals for 2021. Some of the outcomes are quite surprising.

We Are On Dribbble!

Our creative designers got their hands on building a profile on Dribbble, one of the major platforms showcasing creative work from designers and artists around the globe. At Mobile Jazz we have been designing award-winning user interfaces and remarkable user experiences for our clients. We felt we were missing the opportunity to share some of these with the world.
